I had an awful time being harassed (again) by some people who have realised that I catch the metro at the same time every Tuesday, and desperately needed to do some fanart to let off steam. I sketched Vanellope and King Candy without a thought (and drew the car from memory, so I later had to fix loads of mistakes with it), but when it came to scanning and colouring them, I figured why not give them a background?

This is set before the game is even plugged in I'd say, it's backstory. Vanellope has her first drive of the car her dad had made for her. IT'S A REAL KART WITH A REAL ENGINE LOOKIT IT HAS PEDALS.

Sour Bill looks like he's about to clock King Candy with that lollipop. What can I say? This was unplanned, so it's not really nearly as tight or amazing as it could have been, it's just a bit of fun.
